Thank you for exploring the
possibility of becoming involved in the Resilience and Lifespan Development Laboratory.
The success of our research depends upon the involvement of bright and
motivated undergraduate and graduate students, and we welcome your interest. Join Us as an
Undergraduate Volunteering as a research
assistant (RA) provides an ideal means of getting hands-on experience doing
research and individualized mentorship from someone with advanced research
training. All RAs typically work closely with a graduate student, as well as
with Dr. Ong. Because of the interdisciplinary,
multi-method, collaborative nature of our research, signing on as an RA
typically involves a minimum commitment of 9 hours a week (for credit, if
desired) for two semesters. RAs who have worked in the lab for more than two
semesters may decide to pursue an honors thesis or pilot project of their
own. If you are interested in joining us or would like additional
information, please contact Thomas Fuller Rowell at tf42@cornell.edu or David Brown at
deb246@cornell.edu. Join Us as a
Graduate Student or Postdoctoral Fellow As a graduate student, you
will have the opportunity to pursue research on a range of topics in the
areas of emotion, stress and health, personality, and emotion regulation. To

If you are interested in research projects in the lab, or if you have
exciting ideas for collaborations, please contact Dr. Anthony Ong directly at ado4@cornell.edu. |
